Join the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement for a lighting ceremony to commemorate the first U.S. landmark to turn red – the iconic Macy's tower in Herald Square – in celebration of the 10th National Wear Red Day.
Star Jones, the American Heart Association's national volunteer, invites New Yorkers to kick off "America Goes Red" at Macy's with some of Broadway's hottest stars including Tony Award winner, Judy Kaye from Nice Work If You Can Get It and performances from Motown's Valisia LeKae and the cast of STOMP! This event will kick off the GO RED movement across America, shining a spotlight on heart disease – the No.1 killer of women.
